Job Details

Work is focused on new, residential construction across the Hampton Roads area. Preferred active driver`s license. 

Job Duties:

Plumbers expected to be able to perform slabs, top-outs/rough-ins, and finals. Must be able to read blueprints. Must have attention to detail, make sure all rings are crimped and all (applicable) glue joints are primed. 

Installs must be up to code and be able to pass inspection.

Duties include:

• Install new plumbing based on blueprints and code
• Able to plumb a slab, rough-in / top out, and install fixtures for final
• Able to assemble and install fittings up to code
• Ensure all work meets safety standards and follows best practices
• Must be able to layout material and create accurate shortage lists
• Able to work with other trades, contractors, or builders to maintain progress and keep track of materials
• Must be able to work without explicit instructions, i.e., Follow blueprints and have well-rounded understanding of plumbing

Qualifications:

• Prior experience 
• Driver`s License
• Highschool Diploma
• Understanding of plumbing systems, i.e., water supply and drainage systems
• Able to comprehend blueprints

Preferred:

• Proficient in math for measurements and calculating space for fittings
• Licensed Journeyman

Tools not provided, must have your own tools. Recommended to have battery operated tools charged as some jobsites do not have power.
