Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and managing pest issues for residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pest control methods, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients.

Duties

• Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest infestations and potential entry points.
• Develop and implement effective pest management plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Apply appropriate pest control treatments using various methods, including chemical applications, traps, and exclusion techniques.
• Educate clients on pest prevention strategies and maintenance practices.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, products used, and follow-up actions required.
• Operate and maintain pest control equipment, including power tools and hand tools.
• Drive to various job sites safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pest control or a related field such as landscape or lawn care is preferred but not required.
• Strong sales skills to effectively communicate service offerings to clients a plus.
• Ability to operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policies.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
