Kenworth Sales Co., a 38-location Kenworth and Isuzu truck dealership group is looking for an Inventory Control Clerk to join the teamin our Chesapeake , Virginia location.Job SummaryThe primary function of the Inventory Control Clerk is to assist inventory management with the coordination and maintenance of parts inventory.Salary$20 - $25 per hour.Due to federally mandated DOT regulations, Kenworth Sales Compayis a drug-free workplace. Any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screening.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist with stock and emergency purchasing, reports, vendor stock and core returns, order levels, receiving and related functionsRun and update PACCAR reports, input all stock orders and assist with emergency orders dailyKeep prices currentMonitor and process credits, RMA's outstanding and shipping authorizationsFiles departmental paperworkAssists Parts Manager with special projects as requested, including cycle counts and annual physical inventory countMaintain good communications with team members to minimize mistakes and maximize teamworkQualificationsAbility to read and comprehend English instructions and informationHigh school diploma or the equivalent. Clearly legible handwriting.Computer terminal data input, 10 key calculator2 years general office experience with under standing of office procedures, to include filing, correspondence, basic accounting.
