Inventory & Warehouse Specialist

What You'll Do

• Inventory accuracy Monitor stock levels, spot shortages early, and communicate needs to Warehouse & Production.
• MRP management Set up and maintain MRP so materials and products are ready when needed.
• Order fulfillment Pick, pull, stock, and process customer orders quickly and accurately.
• Cycle counts Perform regular inventory audits and resolve discrepancies.
• Freight handling Load/unload containers and verify freight documentation.
• Shipping support Provide backup for shipping and receiving.
• Purchasing assistance Coordinate material needs and help with replenishment.
• Cross-department teamwork Work closely with multiple teams to keep workflow smooth.
• Data entry Enter inventory and order information accurately using warehouse systems.
• General warehouse tasks Support production and warehouse operations as needed.

What You Bring

• Inventory software experience Familiarity with WMS or inventory programs.
• Hands-on warehouse skills Picking, stocking, loading, unloading, cycle counts.
• Shipping & receiving knowledge Comfortable reviewing freight documentation.
• Equipment operation Able to operate a forklift/pallet jack (or willing to learn).
• Computer & data accuracy Strong computer skills and precise data entry.
• Problem-solving Able to troubleshoot inventory discrepancies.
• Math & analytical skills Comfortable interpreting inventory and MRP data.
• Organization & detail Strong attention to detail.
• Teamwork Clear communication and a collaborative mindset.
• Physical capability Able to lift 5080 lbs, bend, walk, climb stairs, and handle materials.

Preferred:

• Manufacturing warehouse experience
• MRP familiarity
• Comfort with resin/epoxy

Work Environment

You'll work in a clean, climate-controlled warehouse handling materials such as resin and epoxy. The work is hands-on and physically activelifting up to 80 lbs, bending, walking, climbing stairs, and operating standard warehouse equipment. Because of the materials used, it's best to avoid wearing delicate clothing. Safety, accuracy, and teamwork are central to the workflow across inventory, shipping, receiving, and production.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Chesapeake, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
