Candidates must bring their license on the first day. The position requires a minimum of three years of pediatric experience with at least two years specifically in NICU, PICU, or pediatric general care settings, along with relevant certifications. Job Details: Specialty: Pediatric Floor Location: Norfolk, VA Shift Hours: 12-hour rotating shifts Minimum Hours Per Week: 36.0 Start Date: 06/15/2026 Required Qualifications: Valid Virginia license in hand; certification in Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Basic Life Support (BLS); minimum of 3 years' pediatric experience including NICU and/or PICU for 2 years; experience with vented patients; skills in conducting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, and providing emergency care; SSN and DOB required; one reference in entire work history; documentation due 1.5 weeks prior to start date. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with vented patients in pediatric settings, NICU, or PICU. Additional Information: This role includes a call requirement that will be discussed during the interview. Schedule: 36 hours guaranteed weekly, 12-hour rotating shifts, including every other weekend and holidays. Credentialing Requirements: Documentation due 1.5 weeks prior to start date.
