Engineer Electrical 4

Newport News, VA 12-month contract. Pay $56.00-$70.00/hr BOE Must be US Citizen and have an active Secret Clearance Sorry, no C2C or third party resumes.

Job Description: Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks. Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience in electrical design, testing, and system development
• Proficiency in electrical CAD tools and simulation software
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Knowledge of industry standards and safety protocols

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with power distribution systems
• Knowledge of control systems and automation
• Familiarity with project management tools

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (required)
• Minimum of 9 years' experience with a Bachelor's, 7 years with a Master's, or 4 years with a PhD in Electrical Engineering
