US Department of Defense - - Responsibilities: Operate, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance on high pressure utility boilers and related machinery, equipment, and systems; Independently start, operate, adjust, stop, maintain, and perform various operational repairs on multiple-fuel power boilers and associated auxiliary and pollution control equipment; Check measurement devices to determine if boilers are operating within prescribed limits; Perform operational maintenance and repairs on mechanical or electrical parts; Maintain narrative log on plant operating conditions and communicate plant status to supervisor, leader, and next shift operators
