Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a qualified Computer Field Technician in support of one of our healthcare clients in Virginia Beach VA. This candidate will be supporting the annual computer replacement initiative. The day‑to‑day will include: · Replace and deploy end-of-life computers for both clinical and non-clinical users, including remote workers. · Image, configure, and test computers to ensure full functionality, including print services and user-specific requirements. · Utilize Intune for device enrollment, policy deployment, application delivery, and compliance monitoring. · Manage Active Directory (AD) and Intune groups for device and user assignments as needed. · Ensure accurate LWS (Lifecycle Workstation Services) record management and proper documentation of device actions. · Maintain up-to-date asset inventory, tracking all computer equipment from deployment through disposal. · Follow established procedures for equipment asset disposal, ensuring compliance with data security protocols. · Provide clear communication and customer service to end users during equipment replacement activities.
Required Skills & Experience
· High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in Information Technology or related field preferred.
· 1-2 years' experience in IT support or hardware deployment roles preferred.
· Proficiency in Windows imaging, Microsoft Intune, and Active Directory, ServiceNow
· Experience with inventory tracking systems and asset management.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Ability to work effectively across clinical and non-clinical settings and with remote user populations.
