Aerotek - - Responsibilities: Lay out and fabricate metal structural parts such as plates, bulkheads, and frames.; Position and align parts within the hull of a ship using jacks, turnbuckles, clips, wedges, and mauls.; Mark reference lines, such as center, buttock, and frame lines, on metal surfaces.; Install temporary fasteners to hold parts in place for welding.; Tack weld clips and brackets in place prior to permanent welding.
