Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAtlantic Shores Heating & Cooling is the leading provider of heating and cooling, ventilation, and servicing to the residential and light commercial markets in the Western Tidewater Area. We are locally family owned and operated since 1995 and due to continued growth, we are looking for top talent!Key ResponsibilitiesInstall new HVAC units, including: furnaces, air handlers, condensers, and rooftop units according to manufacturer specifications.Install, connect, and seal sheet metal or flexible duct systems, as well as copper refrigerant lines and gas lines.Wire both low and line voltage to heating and cooling equipment, including connecting to thermostats and control systems.Test electrical circuits, braze components, and run diagnostic tests to ensure proper, safe operation upon installation.Maintain accurate job records, including serial numbers and start-up documentation.Explain system operation to customers, ensure a clean workspace, and maintain a professional demeanor.Requirements1-5+ Years of HVAC installation experienceStrong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and proficient with hand/power tools.Must be able to lift 50lbs, work in confined spaced (attics & crawlspaces) and stand for long periods of time.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.EPA CertificationHVAC Certification or Diploma from an accredited program preferredValid driver's license, with clean driving record.Ability to pass background checkAbility to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.BenefitsCompetitive pay based on HVAC experienceHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid trainingPaid time off and holidays401K (w/ Employer Match)Tool AccountTuition ReimbursementAtlantic Shores Heating & Cooling takes pride in creating a workplace where you can grow, succeed, and still enjoy life outside of work.
