Remote Paralegal

Description:

Insight Global is looking for a Paralegal to join a team based out of the Charlottesville, Virginia area.The Paralegal will provide legal, administrative, and case‑management support to an internal disciplinary or review committee responsible for evaluating and adjudicating matters related to organizational codes of ethics and professional conduct. This role plays a key part in ensuring the integrity, efficiency, and fairness of the organization's professional conduct and enforcement processes.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail‑oriented, comfortable handling confidential matters, and experienced in supporting complex review or adjudicatory workflows within a regulated, legal, or governance‑driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day paralegal support to the disciplinary or review committee, including case preparation, documentation, and workflow coordination
  • Assist with the intake, organization, and management of case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records
  • Prepare and format case materials, summaries, and supporting documentation for committee meetings and deliberations
  • Coordinate committee logistics, including scheduling meetings, managing agendas, maintaining records, and tracking decisions or outcomes
  • Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements throughout the review process
  • Support communications related to disciplinary proceedings, including correspondence with internal stakeholders and external parties as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate case tracking, deadlines, and status updates across multiple active matters
  • Assist legal and professional conduct staff with research, data compilation, and administrative tasks related to ethics enforcement and governance
  • Support continuous improvement of disciplinary processes through documentation, quality checks, and procedural updates


Must-haves:


3-5 years background in board services paralegal (someone who understand risk)

Coordination and communication, attention to detail


Plusses:


Background in EA

Paralegal cert

Background in litigation (shared resource potentially)


Hourly Pay: $30-$38/hr


Job Type: 6-month contract to permanent hire opportunity


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
