Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal

The client is looking for a high-level Litigation Paralegal to join their team. This isn't just a support role; they need a proactive professional who can take full ownership of a file from post-intake all the way through trial or settlement.

The Role: What You'll Do

You will be the engine behind their litigation department, managing a diverse caseload in a fast-paced environment. Most cases will be transitioned to you after initial development, requiring you to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

• Case Ownership: Independently manage files, monitor medical treatment progression, and ensure cases are medically mature for resolution.
• Drafting Excellence: Produce high-quality pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and subpoenas with minimal attorney oversight.
• Deadline Mastery: Proactively track statutes of limitations, discovery cut-offs, and court-ordered dates.
• Litigation Support: Handle state court e-filing (Federal is a plus), manage liens, and organize complex medical/wage loss documentation.
• Trial Prep: Act as the attorney's right hand by preparing exhibit lists, witness lists, medical indices, and trial binders.
• Logistics & Liaison: Manage attorney calendars via Outlook; coordinate with opposing counsel, experts, court reporters, and medical providers.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 5+ years of significant Personal Injury litigation experience.
• Technical Skill: Strong command of General District and Circuit Court procedures (Federal court experience is a major bonus).
• Drafting Ability: Exceptional grammar and the ability to draft custom legal documents (not just filling in blanks).
