US Department of Defense - - Responsibilities: Provide physical security for the premises to ensure the safety and welfare of persons on the compound; Respond to breaches in physical security control (locks, fences, gates, and other barriers); Control compound access by determining identity, purpose of visit, and destination for all personnel and visitors; Deny access to unauthorized personnel/visitors to prevent unauthorized access to facilities; Interact with the public tactfully to provide assistance for general questions and non-emergency situations
