Location: Must be local to Wash DC Metro area; hybrid schedule supporting offices in Kingstowne Alexandriaand Fort Belvoir

Relocation: Relo support will be considered for candidates outside the commuting area

Position Description:

JTEC Consulting is recruiting for a mid-senior level SailPoint Developer with IdentityIQ (IIQ) expertise and strong Java development skills to support Identity, Credentialing, and Access Management (ICAM) for an existing contract. The Developer will provide hands-on development support to an Army program ensuring sound practices for access control and detecting vulnerabilities as part of modernizing the program's cybersecurity framework.

Qualified candidates must have experience implementing IAM solutions using the SailPoint IdentityIQ platform. Recent and relevant hands-on developer work experience focused on both SailPoint IIQ and proficiency with Java is a must for consideration.

Contingent Position: Hiring for this position is contingent upon government approval and funding to add another resource to the team.

Role and responsibilities include:

  • Work as part of a collaborative engineering team offering technical solutions, troubleshooting, and resolutions to enhance Army capabilities supporting system security.
  • Support business requirements and configuring SailPoint solutions for seamless integration with existing systems and applications.
  • Serve a key role in application onboarding, enhancing security measures, managing user access, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Integration and API Development: Develop custom integrations with various applications, directories, and systems using APIs and connectors provided by SailPoint. Ensure data synchronization and establish seamless communication between different platforms.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the IAM solutions adhere to security best practices and comply with relevant regulatory standards. Implement access control policies, role-based access control (RBAC), and other security measures to protect sensitive data.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, configurations, and integration details. Prepare reports on system performance, access governance, and compliance-related metrics.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, security, and compliance, to ensure alignment with organizational policies and standards.
  • Work closely with project managers and team leads to meet delivery requirements.
  • Provide on-site support, as needed
Requirements include:
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Current security clearance (minimum interim secret) is required for consideration
  • Bachelor's degree required; Studies in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related discipline preferred
    • Equivalent years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Current certification to meet DOD 8570 IAT Level II compliance (Security+, CISSP, or equivalent) is required to start work
  • 3-8 years of related development experience implementing and supporting IAM/ICAM solutions including:
    • Proficiency in Java development
    • Proficiency using SailPoint IdentityIQ (Sailpoint IIQ)
  • Recent experience implementing enterprise Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions Experience developing program documentation and reports
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to work with a blended government and contractor team
  • Ability to convey technical information to a non-technical audience
  • Availability to support a hybrid schedule at both the Ft Belvoir or Kingstowne offices, as requested

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with Saviynt Security Manager (SSM) or Enterprise Identity Cloud (EIC) is preferred
  • Experience with IBM Security Verify Governance is preferred

JTEC offers competitive compensation and benefits to all employees. Salaries are dependent upon a wide range of factors including position requirements, customer/program needs, individual qualifications, education, experience, certification and/or training, location, and other job related factors.

Pay Range: $125,000 - $135,000 per year
