Daily Responsibilities: Construct and install decks, docks, and boat houses according to project specifications Perform structural inspections and repairs on existing walkways and piers Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete carpentry tasks Adhere to safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment at all times Required Skills: Experience in commercial construction and finish carpentry Ability to read and interpret blueprints Proficiency in cabinetry, framing, and siding Knowledge of scaffolding, tile installation, and drywall finishing Experience with roofing, concrete work, and carpentry fabrication Nice to Have Skills: Experience with blueprint reading and installation of hand tools Previous experience in remodeling and finishing projects Company Information: Tier One Construction, LLC is a general contractor specializing in residential and commercial construction services in Portsmouth, Virginia.
