Description - Your Responsibilities
- Conduct both routine and complex laboratory tests encompassing various disciplines such as clinical chemistry, hematology, and immunology while following established protocols.
- Evaluate test outcomes for precision, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and manage preventive maintenance along with calibrations of the lab instruments.
- Assist in sample collection procedures and get specimens ready for assessment when necessary.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all processes, facilitate the training of new colleagues, and adhere to the highest standards of lab quality.
- Ensure a hygienic and safe working environment while complying with accreditation and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a similar allied health qualification with plans to obtain ASCP/AMT certification.
- Accredited ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within your first year of employment.
- Maintain continuous certification throughout your tenure with us.
