Job Responsibilities of Customer Service Clerk
• Greet and assist visitors or customers in person and by phone with professionalism and courtesy
• Process information such as payments, bills, work orders, or incoming correspondence
• Enter and update data in internal systems accurately
• Prepare reports, manage records, and ensure organized documentation
• Access internal resources to respond to questions and resolve concerns
• Handle clerical tasks including sorting mail, managing paperwork, and balancing account information
• Perform other related administrative support duties as assigned
Job Qualifications of Customer Service Clerk
• High school diploma or GED required
• Comfortable using computers and performing data entry
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, percentages)
• Must be comfortable in a front-facing, customer service environment
• Business professional attire required
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
