The EmPower Breakfast began in 2001 and is expanding to cities across the US. Be part of this fast-growing, fast-paced business networking event by conducting an emPower Breakfast in your city! Our aimis to improve business practices and enable individuals to reach their full potential. We are seeking passionate individuals to conduct this people-focused event in the Williamsburg area.

Role Description

This is a contract role for an Area Director for the EmPower Breakfast in the Norfolk area. The Area Director will receive paid fully training and work about 15 hours assisting the Area Director coordinate the EmPower Breakfast using our automated systems. As a remote role, the Area Director will have the flexibility to work from home.

Qualifications

• Perfect role for a small business owner (multi-level marketing, financial planner, real estate, business coach - anyone who benefits from a growing sphere of influence)
• Enjoy meeting people and providing a quality networking experience
• Recruiting sponsors is a primary function of the position. Attendees of the breakfast are the best candidates for sponsor
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Knowledge of the local business community
• Passion for community engagement and empowerment
