Hourly Wage: $22.11
The Operations Facility Equipment Technician is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of all operations facility equipment and the bus and train washes. The technician will be responsible for the cleanliness/appearance, and the good working order of all equipment. Must be available on nights and weekends, including holidays. Must be able to fill an on-call status.

Required Knowledge, Abilities and Skills essential to Job Functions:
General knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing and hydraulics. With minor supervision, this position will work independently to make repairs, and perform routine maintenance on operations facility equipment. Position will be required to use their knowledge to prioritize problems and troubleshoot them to identify solutions. Position must be able to multitask and prioritize those tasks into order of importance. Position must have good communication skills both verbal and written and be able to maintain detailed records.
Required Software Knowledge and Skills essential to Job Functions:
Proficiency in using computer systems and the listed software applications associated with performance of assigned work is essential. Basic problem-solving skills associated with software applications used is expected. Software usage relevant to job duties will be evaluated.
Software applications:
Ability to use computers is required including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, HRT's Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) software for maintenance, and HRT's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software for finance.

Promote safety awareness and follow safety procedures and policies. Take an active part in reporting unsafe conditions and any hazards within the workplace to their Supervisor, Manager and/or the Safety Department.
Training and/or Education:
High school diploma or GED certificate required. Basic mechanical skills, plumbing skills, electrical skills and use of hand tools and power tools. Trade schools certificate, college courses or equivalent work experience related to facilities maintenance, including bus wash maintenance.
Required Experience:
Minimum 2 years' experience in the maintenance field of work.
Licenses or Certificates:
Possess a valid Driver's License. Acquire a Virginia Driver's License within 60 days after the date of hire (in instances when an out of state license is not the applicant's current state of residence).
