Allied Universal - Up to $18.80/hour - - Responsibilities: Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.; Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, credentials, and delivery documentation, and by directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic in accordance with site requirements.; Maintain accurate logs of visitors, employees, and shipments, including issuing and collecting badges and/or passes as required by site policy.; Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, unauthorized access attempts, and policy violations through the chain of command.; Conduct regular and random patrols of gates, yards, docks, buildings, and perimeter areas, and report unusual activity, damage, and/or maintenance concerns.
