Job Description

• Ensure a clean and sanitary workspace by maintaining high standards for dishes, utensils, glasses, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Efficiently operate the dish washing machine in accordance with operational procedures.
• Load the appropriate soap and rinse chemicals for effective washing.
• Identify and remove any damaged or broken dishes, utensils, and glassware from service.
• Assist in stocking food and non-food items that are delivered.
• Regularly empty and clear garbage bins while efficiently breaking down boxes.
• Conduct deep cleaning processes for the kitchen and its equipment as required.
• Participate in all training and in-service seminars to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Commit to maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment at all times.
• Perform duties in compliance with the standards set by Senior Lifestyle Corporation.
• Focus on maintaining a safe working atmosphere by preventing accidents and preserving equipment while following safe working practices.
• Always uphold a positive and professional attitude toward residents, visitors, and co-workers.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old or possess a valid workers permit.
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a plus.
• Must be able to pass state and federal background checks as well as a drug test.
