Hot & Cold Supply is a Wholesaler, Master Distributor, and OEM Manufacturer serving Commercial and Government customers, including Department of Defense contracts. We manufacture and assemble high-quality mechanical, hydraulic, hose, and electrical systems that must meet strict performance and inspection standards.

We are growing and looking for mechanically capable, detail-oriented individuals who take pride in precision work.

Position Overview

The Manufacturing Production Associate is responsible for the assembly, fabrication, testing, and preparation of mechanical and electrical systems in a production environment.

This is not a general warehouse role. This position requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow specifications and build to quality standards.

You will work directly under the Production Manager and support project-based builds and contract manufacturing.

Core Responsibilities

Mechanical & Assembly Work

• Build hose assemblies, pipe assemblies, and mechanical systems
• Assemble valves, fittings, couplings, and related components
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, and prepare pipe and tubing
• Install supports, mounting hardware, and structural components
• Build electrical sub-assemblies as required
• Construct shipping crates for finished assemblies

Testing & Quality Control

• Perform pressure testing and leak detection
• Conduct electrical continuity checks (as applicable)
• Inspect completed assemblies against work orders and specifications
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe production areas

Production Support

• Pull materials and stage jobs accurately
• Work from job tickets, drawings, and instructions
• Coordinate with Production Department Leadership & team members

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year hands-on mechanical assembly experience or recent completion of core construction curriculum in trade school training program or equivalent course types
• Strong mechanical aptitude (industrial, hydraulic, plumbing, fabrication, or similar background preferred)
• Experience using mechanical hand tools and power tools
• Ability to read work orders and follow written instructions
• Basic computer literacy
• Clean driving record
• Ability to obtain government base access credentials

Preferred (but not required)

• Experience with hose fabrication or hydraulic systems
• Experience with pipe threading or light fabrication
• Forklift experience
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift up to 50 lbs
• Occasionally lift up to 100 lbs (team lift as required)
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts
• Frequent bending, lifting, twisting, and standing

Work Schedule & Compensation

• Full-time, hourly position
• Monday through Friday
