We are hiring experienced Sheet?Metal Mechanics for a long?term project in Virginia Beach beginning March?2026. This is a great opportunity for trades professionals who are skilled in sheet metal fabrication, installation, and field work, and who value precision, safety, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, install, and repair sheet metal systems-ductwork, metal panels, structural components, or custom sheet metal work.
  
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, layouts, and shop drawings.
  
• Use hand and power tools, press brakes, shears, welding or fastening tools to cut, bend, shape, join, and assemble sheet metal components.
  
• Ensure installations meet quality standards, align with drawings, and comply with code and safety requirements.
  
• Work at heights, in tight/awkward spaces, handle heavy materials, and collaborate with other trades.
  
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety protocols and PPE usage.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 3?5 years of sheet metal mechanics or sheet metal fabrication/installation experience in commercial, industrial or large?scale construction environments (experience in shipyard or marine is a plus).
  
• Proficiency using sheet metal tools and equipment: shears, brakes, riveters, fasteners, welders (if applicable).
  
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  
• Strong attention to detail, quality orientation, and ability to work effectively in a team.
  
• Comfortable working in elevated or confined spaces.
  
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation.
  
• Must pass background check and drug screen; legally authorized to work in the U.S.
