Installation Coordinator

Description:

Position Purpose:

The HDIS Installation Coordinator serves as a vital support expert for both internal teams and external customers, dedicated to delivering a seamless customer experience. This role involves assisting customers and coordination with Install Field teams, focusing on job management and monitoring for all interior and exterior product lines. Responsibilities include scheduling pre-installation inspections, managing the job flow, and serving as the primary point of contact for all job-related inquiries. You will work toward achieving performance metrics related to prompt documentation and efficient job progression.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 35% Customer Experience: Establish and maintain regular communication with customers throughout the installation process, ensuring timely follow-ups and resolutions to inquiries. Provide support and facilitate customer satisfaction from the point of sale through post-service follow-ups.

  • 25% Job Process Support: Collaborate with various internal and external partners within the organization including the Branch Support Center, Sales, and Installation teams for job-related queries. Assist in addressing customer escalations and exceptions, contributing to efficient branch operations.

  • 40% Operations: Manage the intake and organization of all open jobs, ensuring all paperwork is accurate. Work with customers to finalize payments, schedule pre-installation inspections, and handle data entry tasks. Manage material orders and process invoices for third-party service providers, as well as service tickets as needed.

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

  • This position reports to the District Installation Manager.
  • This position has no direct reports.

Travel Requirements:

  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

  • This position primarily involves sitting comfortably with frequent opportunities to move around. Occasionally, there may be a need to lift light items.

Working Conditions:

  • The work environment is generally comfortable, with infrequent exposure to unpleasant conditions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least eighteen years old.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the home improvement or construction sector, along with clerical or administrative expertise.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with a keen sense of urgency and problem-solving abilities.

Minimum Education:

  • High school diploma or GED.

Minimum Years of Work Experience:

  • At least 1 year.

Competencies:

  • Self-motivated and able to complete tasks with minimal direction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with capable computer skills.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities effectively while keeping accurate records of customer interactions and job statuses.
