Position Overview

The Part-Time Night Service Representative plays a crucial role in ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction during overnight hours when the hotel lobby is closed. This position offers a unique opportunity to live onsite in a dedicated guest hotel room while being part of the overnight on-call service team. As a Night Service Representative, you will address guests' needs promptly—typically within 30 minutes—providing assistance with check-ins, key access problems, noise complaints, and emergency situations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to guest calls for check-ins, maintenance emergencies, noise complaints, and safety issues.
  • Safeguard and manage all hotel keys, ensuring secure handling.
  • Assist with check-ins and check-outs, which includes greeting guests, registering them, assigning rooms, and processing payments when required.
  • Stay informed on hotel policies, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
  • Report any safety, guest, or security concerns in accordance with company policy.
  • Provide guests with directions and information about property amenities, area services, and attractions.
  • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks including logging events and processing payments.
  • Maintain proficiency in hotel management software and computer systems.
  • Handle emergency situations competently and communicate effectively with first responders.
  • Be flexible in covering shifts at another hotel as needed.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned by management.

  • Strong documentation skills for logging events and preparing correspondence.
  • Proficient in using mobile devices and hotel management software.
