Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital Nursing Administration is hiring a Full-time Administrative Assistant I (Administrative Secretary). The role supports senior directors and directors, handling a variety of administrative tasks to optimize the time and performance of managers and department staff. Responsibilities include acting as a first point of contact, managing correspondence and phone calls, maintaining calendars, organizing meetings and appointments, preparing documents or reports, and controlling access to the manager or department. The position may involve dealing with confidential information.
Full-time, Day Shift from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Perform a variety of administrative tasks aimed to optimize the time and performance of a manager or employees of a department; higher level roles will work for higher level managers or departments. Tasks may involve acting as a first point of contact, dealing with correspondence and phone calls, managing diaries, organizing meetings and appointments, preparing documents or reports, and controlling access to the manager or the department.
