Job Duties
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This role is essential to infection prevention, resident comfort, and overall facility appearance in a healthcare setting.

Minimum Qualifications
Key Responsibilities
• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, dining areas, offices, and common spaces
• Disinfect high-touch surfaces in accordance with infection control and facility protocols
• Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash, biohazard materials, and recyclables
• Replenish cleaning supplies, paper products, and personal protective equipment as needed
• Follow established cleaning schedules and special cleaning requests
• Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and machinery safely and correctly
• Follow all OSHA, CDC, and facility infection control guidelines
• Assist with terminal cleaning of rooms after resident discharge or transfer
Additional Considerations
What We're Looking For
• Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred
• Knowledge of infection control in a nursing home environment is a plus
• Flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays, may be required
• Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care
