Occupational Therapist Location: Norfolk, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,386 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/19/2026 About the Position Job Title: Occupational Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year of Adult Home Health Experience License: Must have license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Recent Home Health experience, reliable transportation, current driver's license, agency-required liability insurance Description: This position involves therapy home visits. Clinician will be responsible for periodic office meetings. Must have reliable transportation and a current driver's license. Agency-required liability insurance is necessary. Daily patient load will average 5 to 6 patients. Clinician will be assigned between 5 to 10 patients per day, equating to roughly 6 to 8 points. Each type of visit and activity, including documentation and travel, holds a different point value. There are no guaranteed hours with this contract. If the clinician is unable to meet financial needs due to low patient census, floating to a nearby clinic can be discussed. Types of cases include Start of Care and Follow Ups. Expectations include accepting every patient on the schedule, regardless of distance between appointments. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of each appointment. Failure to complete documentation on time may lead to cancellations. Clinicians must be comfortable traveling up to 75 miles from the assigned care center. Mileage will be reimbursed at the standard IRS rate. This position does not include weekend rotation or on-call requirements. Local candidates are accepted. Clinicians must be proficient with HomeCare and have experience with charting systems. Candidates must not currently be direct employees of any relevant locations if applying for this position.
