Volt is immediately hiring for Assembly Operator II at HAMPTON, Virginia 23666.
As a Assembly Operator II, you will be responsible for:
- Follow standardized work instructions for the assembly of components in accordance with top/sub level drawings.
- The Manufacturing of electronics/mechanical parts assembly's that require good hand eye coordination
- Read and comprehending manufacturing drawings and S.O.Ps./ OMS
- 5s - Ensure high cleanliness standards are maintained during the shift and on the responsible areas.
- Demonstrate a mindset of continuous improvement in all duties.
- Follow all direction and safety protocols.
- Using hydraulic presses
- Use small hand tools
- Duties and tasks are varied and semi-routine.
The ideal candidate will have:
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Electrical, Industrial and/or distribution experience preferred but not required
- Electronic or mechanical, sensor component technology manufacturing background candidate.
- Experience (1+ years preferred).
