Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital is seeking an experienced Trauma Registrar for our ED Trauma Department. Shift: Full Time, 40 hrs, Days. Job Description:Prepares spreadsheets, reports, lists, and matrixes for use in operations of department. Reviews confidential, statistical data for accuracy and safeguards all confidential facts and figures at all times. Education. HS Diploma required, graduate of a HIM program highly preferred. Certification/ Licensure. CSTR or CAISS certification preferred - (expectation to acquire this cert within 3 yrs)Experience. HIM trained, trauma registrar experience.
