Our client, a leading organization in the industrial sector, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the warehouse operations supporting logistics and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Portsmouth, VA
Pay Range: $17.85
Shift: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM
What's the Job?
Operate forklifts, manual pallet jacks, and rolling pushcarts to move products within the warehouse
Package and label customer orders accurately and efficiently
Inspect incoming products and verify against shipping manifests for accuracy
Utilize computer systems to process receipts, putaways, picks, and replenishments
Assist in maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to perform basic math, read, understand, and follow written operating procedures
Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and stand or crouch for extended periods
Reliable transportation to work
Willingness to work occasional overtime and adhere to safety rules
