Able to use Point of Sale System, must be able to work at a functional level with Microsoft Office and Excel programs. Able to use vendor websites to place and track orders, returns, and credits.Perform other job duties requiring skills, knowledge and physical requirements as demanded by those duties described or less. Individual assignments will be determined by the supervisor based on the current workloads and department needs.Minimum QualificationsHigh school or GED plus six (6) months experience in inventory control methods providing the required knowledge, skills and abilities; or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.Must have, or obtain, a current and valid Virginia or North Carolina driver's license in accordance with Virginia of North Carolina DMV driver's license eligibility requirements.Special RequirementsAll appointees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and/or City-wide emergencies.Knowledge-Skills-Abilities Required to Perform SatisfactorilyA.
