Assembler

What You'll Do

• Work in a collaborative team environment with supportive leadership.
• Read and follow assembly instructions, diagrams, and blueprints.
• Assemble electro-mechanical components, cables, and wire harnesses using tools like crimpers and wire strippers.
• Perform point-to-point wiring and equipment installations with attention to detail.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards while keeping your workspace organized and safe.
• Accurately document work in production and quality forms.
• Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance (company will assist if required).

What We're Looking For

• Experience in assembly, production, or similar hands-on work.
• Comfortable using hand tools and working with mechanical or electrical components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or diagrams.
• Bonus: Experience with electronics, soldering, fiber optics, or cable assembly.
• Certifications like WHMA/IPC-A-620 or IPC-A-610 are a plus (or willingness to obtain).

Qualifications

• 2+ years of assembly experience preferred.
• High School diploma required; technical or electronics training is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic problem-solving skills and ability to follow processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
