The City of Norfolk's Public Library is seeking candidates for a Library Associate I (Youth Services) at the Van Wyck Branch Library. The Library Associate I will be responsible for all Youth Services programming at the branch, including maintaining the KidZone, and assists in managing the juvenile collections. Essential Functions Include But Are Not Limited To:
Education/Experience: Work requires broad knowledge in a general professional or technical field. Knowledge is normally acquired through four years of college resulting in a Bachelor's degree or equivalent. One year of experience in library or related services. Experience working with children, teens, and adults in a library. Supervisory experience preferred.
