Manufacturing Sales Representative

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety regulations and all department-specific safety requirements.
  • Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, acting as the primary contact for customer issues.
  • Coordinate customer order portfolios, including forecasting, resolving open items, and managing order changes.
  • Support facility operations on customer matters impacting relations and shipments.
  • Coordinate with field sales representatives and assist in customer visits.
  • Develop quoting strategies for parts, including cost analysis and internal review.
  • Negotiate commercial issues such as push outs and design changes.
  • Process orders and manage account receivable balances.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Roles

  • Act as a customer advocate, representing customer needs internally and challenging internal systems for improvement.
  • Maintain proactive communication and build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.

Position Requirements

  • Minimum two years of related sales or training experience in manufacturing preferred; recent graduates with a relevant degree or equivalent experience considered.
  • Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedures; effective communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer operations and mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to analyze problems, collect data, and interpret technical instructions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree with two years of related experience, or associate's degree with four years of experience.
  • Ability to provide documentation for employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Access to export-controlled items, with lawful eligibility to access.
  • High competency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior manufacturing experience.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
