What's the job?

The Custodial Site Supervisor will supervise and coordinate all industrial janitors and will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of site facilities to the highest standard. Must be able to work afternoon and weekend shifts, and days if required.

Your responsibilities

  • Meet daily with the Manager to discuss duties or requirements pertaining to the work area.
  • Provide subordinates with positive leadership and model the expected requirements.
  • Conduct site inspections for the assigned region.
  • Assist with general cleaning including trash removal, dusting, cleaning restrooms, break rooms, offices, restaurant seating and production areas, and window washing.
  • Assist with floor maintenance, sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming floors, and buffing floors.
  • Read and explain SDS sheets.
  • Coach and train staff.
  • Ensure all health and safety processes are completed and compliant.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience for clearance purposes.
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment and machines (auto scrubber, swing machine, burnisher, and others as required).
  • Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers, using people skills to establish relationships and resolve conflicts.
  • Physical ability to bend, turn, stoop, stand, reach high and low, and lift up to 50 lbs for 3–8 hours per shift.
  • A clear criminal background check is required.
