Civil (Design) Engineer (Data Centers) – Jacobs

Join Jacobs as a Civil (Design) Engineer (Data Centers) to design and deliver world-class data center infrastructure across the United States.

Base Pay Range

$85,000.00 / yr – $111,525.00 / yr

Location

Any U.S. location. Candidates are preferred near a Jacobs U.S. office but can work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Site development, master planning and site selection.
• Underground utility routing and site space planning.
• Hydrology analysis for storm drain systems.
• Design of gravitational wastewater systems.
• Preparation of grading plans including cut and fill analysis.
• Provide erosion and sediment control, stormwater pollution prevention and permit support.
• Research and apply local Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) requirements.
• Stormwater analysis and modeling using StormCAD, CivilStorm, etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 8 years of engineering experience with medium to large-scale industrial developments.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
• Team collaboration experience in multi-disciplinary settings.

Preferred

• PE certification.
• Bluebeam experience.
• Navisworks experience.
