Overview
As Senior Accountant in SEC Reporting and Accounting Policy, you will be key contributor on the team that prepares our company's quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, develops and implements accounting policies, and provides accounting guidance on significant, complex, or unusual transactions.
YOUR IMPACT
The essential functions of this position include:
- Assist with the preparation of our quarterly (Form 10-Q) and annual reports (Form 10-K) filed with the SEC and our quarterly earnings releases.
- Assist with the preparation of schedules, analyses, and other documents to support specific amounts disclosed in our financial statements, MD&A and elsewhere in Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
- Assist with maintaining all the supporting documentation for Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
- Perform the monthly and quarterly accounting for stock compensation.
- Lead in coordinating the accounting and preparing the statutory financial statements for certain of our international entities.
- Prepare accounting memorandums that support our accounting and disclosures on significant, complex, or unusual transactions.
- Assist with gathering financial information for compliance reporting.
- Assist coordinating and gathering information to pass internal and external audits.
- Assist in consolidation and intercompany accounting.
- Assist with special projects and other ad hoc requests.
QUALIFICATIONS - Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 3-5+ years of relevant work experience, preferably with a public company.
- Certified Public Accountant preferred.
- Public accounting experience preferred.
- Solid knowledge of general financial accounting and reporting including related information systems and support tools.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
POSITION SPECIFICS The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $85,000 and $100,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure may include other components such as commissions and discretionary bonuses.
