Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team, focusing on the shipping and receiving of a wide range of military products. This role demands precision in inventory handling, strong computer skills, and the ability to perform meticulous visual inspections on products before dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently receive and process incoming military products, ensuring all items are accounted for and stored correctly.

• Accurately pick and fill orders using RF scanners, ensuring each order is complete and correctly labeled.

• Carefully pack and ship orders, paying close attention to detail to prevent damage during transit.

• Organize and retrieve stock within the warehouse, maintaining accurate inventory records using warehouse management software such as Oracle and Salesforce.

• Conduct thorough visual inspections of products before shipping to ensure they meet quality standards.

• Operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts and stock pickers, to move and organize inventory.

• Utilize carpentry skills to cut wood, use hand and power tools, and secure items on pallets.

• Accurately identify and track boxes and items when picking orders.

• Collaborate closely with team members to bring orders to the line for picking and packing, ensuring efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, including reading work orders and using computers.

• Proficiency with warehouse management software, Oracle, and Salesforce.

• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.

• Experience with carpentry tasks, including using hand saws, electric drills, and other power tools.

• Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with email communication and basic computer applications.

• Ability to measure and cut materials accurately.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.50/hr.
