Job Description

To supervise the Student Employment section of the University's Payroll Office, following established policies and procedures, federal and state tax laws and ensure timely payment and processing of student hiring documents.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to problem solve. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with the public and perform efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines. Excellent communication and organizational skills, Proficiency with Microsoft applications

Considerable experience working in a payroll setting. Considerable experience supervising the work of others. Considerable customer service experience. Experience hiring, training and directing staff. Experience working with student employment or part time staff rules and regulations.

Conditions of Employment

Overtime may be required during peak periods.
