Position Summary: The primary function of this role is to maintain and manage the accuracy of the Green Coffee inventories within the company's JD Edwards environment. This includes the coordination of "green cycle counts" and participation in all physical inventories. The person in this role will also be responsible for account reconciliations and shrink variance analysis. Therefore, a strong accounting background is required. The Inventory Cost Analyst must also be detail-oriented and possess strong analytical and communication skills. Job Duties: Execute inventory control efforts across shifts and with other departments and functions, this includes: Accountability for the validation and the entering of all Green Receiving in a high-volume capacityInteraction with Operations, which is a critical part of the position to ensure accuracyReconcile CTI inventoryPerform cross functional duties, Receiving, picking and ship confirm etc.Validate and trace all UTZ certified productAnalyze variances focusing on waste and excess usage reportingPerform other duties related to inventory as assigned Qualifications & Requirements: Two - three years' experience in a manufacturing environmentThree or more years of accounting/finance experience requiredBachelor's degree preferredExcellent analytical skillsProficiencies in Excel and Word; the ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a multi-department teamProven understanding of an inventory control process in a manufacturing industryDemonstrated skills needed to: coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts, investigate cycle count variances, and resolve issuesExperience in managing inventory at multiple locations required (tracking movements of and reconciling each)Must be able to manage multiple tasks within various systemsMust exhibit strong communication skills and possess a collaborative spirit to work closely with manufacturing teamsCandidate will be expected to work as a team member and independently Equal Opportunity Employer: disability / veteran.
