Description:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently process Individual and Department work queues within same day.
  • Answering telephone within 2 rings, respond to written correspondence with 24 hour(s), respond to telephone messages within 2 hour(s)
  • Provide confident detailed responses to branches, individual and department emails within the same day.
  • Process all member requests in a timely, accurate and confidential manner.
  • Process daily, weekly, and monthly reports within stated guidelines.
  • Provide support and back-up to other functions within the department; Returned Deposited Items, NSF & Exceptions Processing, Stop Payments,Foreign and Domestic Collections, Adjustments, Safe box processing, Positive Pay Exceptions, Report monitoring, Repurchase & Trade Allocation, ICS Cash Manager Account, Cashier's Check Escheatment, Large dollar returns, Return Mail, Procedure & process reviews, Charge-offs, Court Accounts.Research, Escheatment, B-Notices, IRA Processing & documentation, and account maintenance.
  • Maintain accuracy of daily job-related procedures
  • Actively participate in position related education and training sessions offered, i.e., Towne Bank learning modules, department meeting and employee meetings, etc.
  • Adheres to applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Previous Bank Operations and/or Branch experience.


Desired Skills & Competencies:

  • Minimum of 2 years banking/office experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Dependable and Punctual
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with other inside and or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.


Physical Requirements:

  • Express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word via email and verbally.
  • Exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, use your arms and legs, and sit most of the time.
  • Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as analyzing data, viewing a computer terminal, reading, and preparing documentation.
  • Not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
